Fashion is Art 2011
Congrats to Cathy Payne and
Diamonnique Lassiter for organizing such a great first-time event! Thursday, September 29th was the First Annual Fashion is Art Festival at the Prudential Center. The center of the festival featured a runway which showcased talent in the form of singers, rappers, dancers and of course fashion. Vendors were selling children's clothes, accessories, clothing and more. There were live models on platforms, interactive arts & crafts with sewing demos, knitting and more. Lots of fun for all ages. Over 500 people attended the event. We were proud to be a media sponsor of the event.
