By now you’ve likely heard about composting–combining plant material into a heap for microorganisms to break down into a fine, nutrient-rich soil. But what happens in winter when your compost pile is covered in snow? You turn to vermicomposting! This method of composting via worms actually can be practiced year-round inside your home. Participants of this workshop will take home a bag of red wigglers to get started! $10 per person, register at www.citybloom.org.
