Over the next month, Newark organizations inspire parents to share some time with their children at truly kid-focused events. On the calendar, are events that encourage the littlest imaginations, share one-of-a-kind experiences with parents, and promote self awareness. Check them out:

BUILDING ON BOOKS BIG BASH

FREE

Created for children under age 5 and their parents. A day to enjoy storytime of your favorite books along with arts/crafts that bring that book alive. There will be special character appearances, photo booth, giveaway to first 50 families and more! Brought to you by Newark Mommies, Newark Arts Council & Newark Public Library

CREATIVE PLAY
Newark Museum
FREE with admission (Always Free for Newark residents)

Saturdays at 1,2, and 3pm; Creative Play invites 3-5 year olds and their families to explore the Museum together. Each session will includes a gallery investigation, an opportunity to handle objects from the touch collection, and a family-designed project to take home.
